A Respond! housing project in Tallaght is set to use 130 high efficiency heat pumps in one of the largest projects of its kind in Europe.
The Sanyo CO2 heat pumps use CO2 as a refrigerant. These provide low cost, low carbon heating and hot water. CO2 also has a global warming potential of 1 compared to 1,000 for other HFC-based refrigerants.
