Completely autonomous car

Researchers at the Freie Universitat Berlin have developed a car capable of autonomously navigating Berlin's streets for 80 km.
The car uses a series of sensors as well as a GPS system, there are also 3 lasers to the front and 3 to the rear to detect any vehicles or pedestrians. A rotating laser scanner on the roof provides a full 3D image of the car's surroundings.
View the clip below or visit the site of AutoNOMOS labs for more information.
