With the FIA having announced a Formula E championship for electric cars in 2013, there is a lot of development going on in this area.
The latest is the Lola-Drayson B12/69EV. It is based on the current Lola LMP1 (Le Mans Prototype) car, it weighs in at 1,000 Kg and generates 850Bhp which can power it from 0-60mph in 3.0 seconds.
